1. Agreement

By signing in to and using the CSC Contract Hours Auto-Submit web application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility and Authorized Use

The App is provided exclusively for use by:

You may use the App only to submit contract-hours documentation that is genuinely your own and that you are contractually required or authorized to submit. You may not use the App to submit documentation on behalf of any other person, except where the Department has explicitly designated you to do so in writing.

3. Account and Identity

The App uses your Google account email address, obtained via Google OAuth, to confirm your identity and match it against the approved roster. You are responsible for:

The Department may suspend or revoke your access at any time for any violation of these Terms, or for any conduct the Department reasonably believes is harmful to the App, the Department, or other users.

6. Availability and Changes

The App is provided as a tool for the Department's internal workflow. The Department:

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

The Department does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any defect will be corrected.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will the Department, the University of British Columbia, or any of their respective officers, employees, or agents be liable to you for:

arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App, even if the Department has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in this Section limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Department, the University of British Columbia, and their respective officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, or expense arising out of:

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in British Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the App will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Vancouver, British Columbia.

11. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the App's Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Department regarding your use of the App, and supersede any prior agreement on that subject.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
